REDSTER G9: THE FIRST SKI WITH POWER STEERING

Atomic’s next generation Redster race skis are ready to hit the slopes and race courses of the world. And it’s not just the skis’ flaming red looks that are turning heads – they’re fully loaded with new technology too, set to dial up racing speed and control to an epic level. According to Gerhard Gappmaier, Atomic’s Product manager for race skis, it’s thanks to Atomic’s latest World Cup innovation, Servotec: “The name comes from ‘Servolenkung’ because that’s what it is: power steering for your skis. With Servotec, the ski is quicker to flex. So in turns it makes steering more agile and faster to react. Then skiing straight at high speeds it tightens up, making steering super stable when you need it.”
